Cousin Get-Togethers

One thing I can think of when it comes to Matt is growing up as kids. When it came to all of us cousins getting together at Grandma & Grandpa's, Matt would be the comedian type.

In this picture, we were all at Grandma & Grandpa's house in Middletown, KY eating whatever Grandma cooked for dinner. Grandma's cooking is one good reason to drop by her house. All of us, except for Clay & Kenny were well into adolescence.

It was either before or after dinner that we all headed to the backyard for some Badminton. As u can see, Matt is off to the side looking like he's coaching
or keeping score. As u can tell, he's enjoys being in charge.
These are all the photos I had on me to put in here as most of them are at Mom & Dad's or Grandma's place. This is however an example of our get togethers, where all the 1st cousins were in attendance. It was a rare thing for this to happen, because Carol, Jenny, & Kenny always lived on the other side of the nation known as the West side & were unable to make it back to the Midwest to visit.
This is what I have for now, but I plan to post much more on here. If my brother & cousins can somehow manage to post blogs under here, they'll most likely include their thoughts, etc.

  1. Matt is in our thoughts and prayers. This is not OK and why there is a global young adult movement stirring the pot for change.

  2. Matt and your family are in my thougts and prayers. I befriended Matt at Heme camp. We used to joke about being treated at Children's Hospital and being so much older than the average patient. He was a great guy and will be missed by all who knew him.
